1 pound ground turkey (or chicken)
1/2 cup Franks’ Red Hot Sauce
3 Tbsp. butter (melted)
3/4 cup bread crumbs (or oat flour for GF version)
1 large egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Combine the melted butter with the Franks’ Red Hot and whisk until combined.
Combine turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, garlic powder.
Add about 3/4 of the sauce/butter mixture, saving some to drizzle on top when they get out of the oven.
Mix until combined.
Form the meatballs, medium sized, and place on an oiled cookie sheet.
Place in oven and bake for 25-30 minutes (I baked for 30 minutes and they were a bit over done although still very moist). Pour the extra sauce over the meatballs.
This recipe was inspired by the Buffalo Chicken Meatballs Kathleen and I got at Urban Table. It took about 10 minutes to prep and then 30 minutes to bake. Very quick and easy recipe, anyone can do it! Really good for lunch the next day as well!
